About the Coach

Hi, I am Olivia Skillings, the head coach and founder of The Artemis Project. I love every kind of endurance sport and am striving to make these sports more accessible and fun to everyone who wants to participate.

As a female coach, working in a predominately male space, I have learned to find my voice and strengths in different ways. I strive to build strength, confidence and empower all individuals through a holistic coaching process.

I graduated from Bates College with a BA in Sociology and Education. At Bates, I competed in four years of Division I Nordic Skiing and one year of Division III Track and Field. I have worked with many coaches throughout my athletic career and their unique styles have shaped my philosophy and approach as a coach. I have a Level 100 coaching certification from USSA and am an NCAA-certified coach.

I prioritize two things when working with athletes: focusing on the process and meeting you where you are at in your journey.

Coaching Process

  • Holistic Approach

Training will be individualized to meet you wherever you are at. Training will be a balanced mix of longer runs, intensity runs, shorter runs as well as cross training and strength training.

  • Your Journey

I wiIl meet you where you are at in your running journey and create an individualized plan based on your feedback. I will push you and hold you accountable to the goals we set together.
